The Sports Journalists Association of The Gambia (SJAG) has concluded a two-day capability constructing seminar for 20 chosen journalists in monetary reporting and price range evaluation abilities held on the NaNA Hall.
The two-day intense capability constructing workshop has uncovered the members to correct monetary reporting methods and thorough price range evaluation and interpretations particularly relating to reporting on Sports Associations and federations and their monetary transactions.

Omar Jarju, the president of the Sports Journalists Association, highlighted the significance of the coaching, stressing that monetary reviews and price range evaluation abilities will broaden the members’ information of economic reporting.

“Understanding the monetary panorama of soccer is significant for us to report precisely and maintain these liable for managing soccer funds accountable.
“This training will empower journalists to delve deeper into the financial aspects of sports, ensuring transparency and better informed reporting,” Jarju stated.

Lamin Jarra, a contract journalist and a famend commentator says the coaching has outfitted the members to raised perceive monetary and price range reporting.
“This training is timely as it widens the scope of the participants thereby giving them the opportunities to be diverse in their reporting of inclusive activists of the Federation and sports Associations. The two days capability constructing seminar for the 20 journalists was organised by the SJAG beneath the dynamic management of President Omar Jarju with funding from the Ministry Of Youth and Sports.
