We’re doing a complete assessment of all contracts and cost requests to confirm legitimacy – Finance Minister

The Finance Minister, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson, has mentioned that the Mahama administration is at the moment conducting a complete assessment of all contracts and cost requests.

This assessment, he mentioned is aimed toward verifying their legitimacy.

To that finish, Dr Forson has requested most people to ignore the cost feedback.

The Finance Minister mentioned this after denying claims that he had licensed cost to businessman and former Lawmaker for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong for a contract he executed for the earlier authorities.

He mentioned no contractor has been paid.

In a put up on his X web page, he mentioned “Friends, Since I took workplace, no contractor—together with Kennedy Agyapong—has been paid a pesewa.

“We are at the moment conducting a complete assessment of all contracts and cost requests to confirm their legitimacy.

“Please disregard any claims suggesting that I have authorized payment to Kennedy Ohene Agyapong or any other contractor. Thank You!”

The Finance Minister’s remark comes within the wake of a report that the federal government is making cost to contractors together with Mr Ken Agyapong who’s the proprietor of the development agency Ken City Company Limited.
