Maseru, Mar. 13 — Advocate Teboho Mojapela, leader of the Socialist Revolutionaries (SR), asserts that Lesotho is classified among the world’s poor nations primarily due to corruption.
At a press conference on Thursday, where several members from different political parties announced their defection to the SR, Mojapela commented on the need for change.
Notable defections included Messrs. Retselisitsoe Chabane, formerly with the ruling Revolution For Prosperity (RFP); Katleho Manasi, Mohau Ts’ilo, and Rabohlokoa Khoaeane, previously members of the Democratic Congress (DC) from Qoaling and Koro-Koro; David Letela, also known as ‘Patriot,’ who left the Basotho National Party (BNP) following a contentious exchange with his former party leader, Machesetsa Mofomobe, on social media; Motheea Mpharoane from the Basotho Action Party (BAP); and Thabo Ndabe. . .
