Walter Mzembi says Scottland FC might be the way forward for soccer in Zimbabwe – Nehanda Radio

HARARE – Self-exiled former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Walter Mzembi, has taken to X (previously Twitter) to reward Mabvuku-Tafara legislator Scott Sakupwanya and his Scottland FC mission.

Mzembi believes the newly promoted Premier Soccer League (PSL) facet might be the following huge factor in Zimbabwean soccer.

“His (Scott) Scottland Football Club could be the future of football in Zimbabwe. He has a bankable vision for ZimSoccer going forward,” wrote Mzembi after watching Sakupwanya’s interview with Denny J on BoyzDzeTonaz TV on Youtube.

Beyond soccer, Mzembi additionally praised Sakupwanya, the BetterBrands boss, for his inspiring journey.

He added: “I’ve been listening to @HonSakupwanyaOk’s interview with Denny J. He has an inspiring, humble, rags-to-riches story—bar the politics.

“Young people who are not academically gifted but have an entrepreneurial spirit can learn a thing or two from his journey. We need more of these inspirational stories broadcasted.”

Scottland FC is already making headlines following its skilled strategy to soccer in what will likely be its maiden season within the PSL.

The membership has additionally been making headlines for getting PSL’s prime stars together with Khama Billiat and Walter Musona, shopping for an ambulance, bus, and plans to construct a state-of-the-art stadium in Mabvuku.
