Teenage stunt driver charged over demise of 19-year-old bystander







Albert Pierrera, a 19-year-old stunt driver, has been charged and remanded on the Mile Two Prison over the demise of Ousainou Kebbeh, 19, who died whereas drifting in Manjai Kunda.

Kebbeh sustained deadly head damage and later died in hospital.

The suspect was drifting in a BMW and not using a quantity plate when he veered off the highway, putting the deceased and three others.

“The driver was subsequently charged with ‘Dangerous Driving Causing Death’ opposite to Section 49A of the Motor Traffic (Amendment) Act 2013.

“The driver was arraigned before the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court today, where he was remanded, and the case was referred to the High Court for further proceedings,” the police mentioned.

The injured victims have been discharged from the hospital.
