Seedy Njie, the deputy speaker of the National Assembly and a senior member of the ruling National People’s Party, has accused Mayor Talib Bensouda of being “unapproachable”, not like President Adama Barrow.

Mr. Njie made the remark throughout a political rally in Kiang, the place the ruling National People’s Party and the United Democratic Party will vie for the councillor seat following the passing of the late councillor, who was elected beneath the UDP ticket.

Talib Bensouda, who’s among the many senior UDP members, has accused the Barrow authorities of reckless spending, forcing the nation deep into financial hardship. He requested the Kiang citizens to vote for a UDP candidate for the place.
