President Kagame greets former Nigerian head of state Obasanjo
This morning at African Union Headquarters in Addis Ababa, President Kagame joined different Heads of State and Government for the opening of the thirty eighth AU Summit.
President Kagame witnessed the handover of the AU chairmanship from President Mohamed Ould Cheikh AI- Ghazouani of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to President João Lourenço of Angola.
Under the theme ‘Justice for Africans and People of African Descent Through Reparations’ the Summit will give attention to advancing reparatory justice and fostering racial therapeutic throughout the continent.
