Police have apprehended Ebou Drammeh, a 61-year-old man, in reference to a capturing incident at Serekunda Hanover, which led to the restoration of a single-barrel gun and its license from the suspect’s home.

“Further inquiries revealed that his nephew, Muhammadou Kebbeh, had hid the firearm. Investigators later recovered the firearm together with 14 reside rounds and one empty shell casing on the scene.

Drammeh admitted to capturing Omar Badjie, often known as “Utaka,” within the thigh after an ongoing dispute.

He alleged that Badjie incessantly provoked him by spraying insecticide close to his window whereas he was resting, which he claimed was dangerous to his well being.

Police mentioned Drammeh acknowledged that he had no choice however to fireside his single-barrel gun (Kartuss) in response.

Badjie is presently receiving therapy at Ndemban Hospital, whereas Drammeh has been cautioned and detained. 

Meanwhile, Muhammadou Kebbeh has been arrested and detained for concealing proof after eradicating the firearm and remaining ammunition from the scene.”
