ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia – Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan participated within the Committee of African Heads of State and Government on Climate Change (CAHOSCC) alongside the thirty eighth African Union (AU) Summit on Feb. 16, 2025.
President Samia additionally chaired a session of the AU Summit on behalf of AU Chairperson, Angolan President João Lourenço, on the Nelson Mandela Hall within the AU headquarters.
Additionally, Tanzania was elected as a member of the AU Assembly Bureau for 2025.
