Nyeri County Governor Mutahi Kahiga has taken a swipe at Deputy President Kithure Kindiki accusing him of ignoring his workplace throughout his Nyeri go to.

Kindiki in Nyeri
Kindiki was in Nyeri on his developmental tour of the Mount Kenya area.
He visited Kieni Constituency the place he launched the development of the Endarasha-Charity-Watuka Road which had stalled since 2019.

The DP assured residents that the federal government is engaged on reviving such stalled initiatives within the area. He added that up to now, a minimum of Ksh17 billion has been allotted to revive the initiatives and assemble 12 roads in Nyeri.
Kindiki additionally talked about that the federal government was setting up new markets within the county to bolster commerce.
“We will monitor closely the progress of construction of the roads, markets, and electricity connection projects in the county to ensure faster completion of the projects in the county to ensure faster completion of the projects for the people to benefit from them,” Kindiki mentioned on the time.
