On World Wildlife Day (03 March 2025) twelve photographers from throughout Liberia got here collectively to show their work at a images exhibition hosted by the British Embassy in Monrovia.
These distinguished artists had been the ultimate contestants in a images competitors organised by the British Embassy to assist and showcase Liberian artistic expertise.
Their work responded to the theme of ‘climate change’. Each of the pictures served as a strong reminder of humankind’s interplay with the earth we share.

The judging panel for the competitors included the Executive Director of Liberia’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),the Managing Director of Liberia’s Forest Development Authority (FDA), the Executive Director of the Society for Conservation of Nature of Liberia (SCNL), the Executive Director of Liberian Youth for Climate Actions (LYCA), and the British Embassy’s Chargée d’Affaires.
After cautious deliberation by the judges, the primary, second and third prize winners had been awarded. The winners’ prizes had been complementary in a single day visits to ecolodges throughout Liberia (Nimba, Warkolor and Libassa). This will give them additional alternatives to seize stunning photographs of Liberian wildlife and nurture their artistic expertise. The remaining photographers had been all awarded Highly Commended medals by the Mayor of Monrovia.

The British Embassy extends its appreciation to the judges, dignitaries and company that made the exhibition such a particular night of artwork and dialog.
