In preparation for the Saturday (tomorrow) native authorities election in Osun State, the state governor, Ademola Adeleke has ordered restriction of vehicular motion from 5:00am to five:00pm.
As the electorates put together to train their franchise, the restriction of vehicular motion will probably be in power on election day, Saturday, February 22, 2022 throughout Osun state.
This is contained in a press release signed by Mallam Olawale Rasheed, spokesperson to the state governor on Friday in Osogbo.
The assertion reads, “the directive of the State Governor was sequel to the statewide native authorities elections which can be scheduled to be held tomorrow throughout the state.
“Governor Adeleke who reiterated his dedication to peace and safety stated the motion restriction is important to forestall importation of hoodlums into the state amidst native elections.
“He therefore directed security agencies to enforce the restriction and only allow voters and accredited media and civil society organizations for the continued peace and security of Osun State.”
