‘Let’s proceed with Bruce Bvuma’ – Ex-Kaizer Chiefs defender

Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Dominic Isaacs has urged Amakhosi to stay with Bruce Bvuma in objectives of their subsequent matches

The retired defender feels Bvuma has achieved properly in comparison with Fiacre Ntwari and Brandon Petersen. The 29-year-old has conceded 11 objectives in 10 matches he performed.

“Some of the goals they conceded can’t be blamed on the goalkeeper; he is helpless in certain situations,” Isaacs informed KickOff.

Bvuma has been Kaizer Chiefs finest keeper this season

“Yes, a goalkeeper is crucial to the team, and you cannot fault him. He brings calmness and confidence to the defence,” Isaacs added.

“A good goalkeeper encourages his teammates, keeps everything composed at the back, and communicates effectively. When there’s a cross, he comes out and punches the ball, guiding his defenders by telling them, ‘Man on, man coming from the blindside, step up, drop back a little,’ and so on.”

Kaizer Chiefs parted methods with long-serving keeper Itumeleng Khune final season, and lots of thought both Bvuma or Petersen would take over. Amakhosi as a substitute purchased Ntwari from TS Galaxy, making him their primary goalkeeper.

The Rwandan worldwide conceded 11 objectives in seven matches earlier than damage stored him out for just a few matches. Bvuma has since achieved a good job within the 10 matches he performed for Kaizer Chiefs this season.

“I’m not sure what the competition among goalkeepers at Chiefs is like, but they started with Fiacre Ntwari from TS Galaxy, then moved to Brandon, who didn’t hold the position for long, and now they have Bvuma. Yet, nothing seems to be changing,” Isaacs mentioned.

“It’s arduous to find out who their finest goalkeeper is — one sport all the crew performs properly, and the subsequent, their efficiency dips. Ultimately, when the crew excels, the goalkeeper may even do properly.

“Therefore, let’s continue with Bruce Bvuma and see how it goes,” the ex-Kaizer Chiefs defender added.

“He may have conceded four goals against SuperSport, but the whole team underperformed. They were too open against SuperSport, who capitalized on a very good day.”

Is Bvuma the most suitable choice in objectives?
