Kofi Adoma Breaks Down in Tears, Accuses Vincent Opare of selecting firm model Over His Life

Renowned Ghanaian journalist Kofi Adoma Nwanwani has voiced his disappointment in Angel Broadcasting Network’s CEO, Vincent Opare, over how he was treated following his near-fatal eye shooting incident at Dormaa.

In an emotional revelation, Kofi Adoma Nwanwani shared that he still struggles with the traumatic effects of the attack, suffering from disturbing visions that prevent him from having a good night sleep. He recalled asking whether Dormaahene had reached out after the incident, only to be told he would visit after the festival was over. “I could have died” he lamented.

Speaking on the incident, Kofi Adoma Nwanwani accused Vincent Opare of prioritizing the Angel brand over his well-being. He criticised Vincent Opare for publicly discussing the financial support given to him while disregarding the severity of his condition and the real cost of his treatment. “I heard he granted an interview telling Ghanaians the support his company has given to me. I was very sad. Today, your company brand is more important to you than my life. You don’t care about what happens to me,” he said.

He acknowledged the support entrepreneurship mogul, Dr. Kwaku Oteng provided to him, stating that he gave him financial support without asking for the medical documents about the cost. The medical expenses were overwhelming, forcing them to seek other help. He said Nana Yaa Brefo came home and upon seeing his condition, called Ibrahim Mahama, who not only promised to assist but also stated that he could have sent a private jet to transport Kofi Adoma Nwanwani from Dormaa to Accra if he was contacted earlier. Ibrahim Mahama then requested his account details to provide further financial assistance.

Despite the overwhelming medical expenses, Kofi Adoma Nwanwani said Vincent Opare was telling people they supported him and he was still going out begging people for money.

This, according to Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, is very disappointing.
