Kaduna State Government has launched an electrical automobile (EV) initiative aimed toward offering civil servants within the state with reasonably priced and eco-friendly transportation.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reviews that the scheme was unveiled on the Murtala Square, Kaduna on Friday by Gov. Uba Sani, represented by his Deputy, Dr Hadiza Balarabe.
Sani stated that the scheme provided tricycles and electrical bikes by way of subsidised loans, with repayments deducted instalmentally from the employees’ salaries.
He emphasised the state authorities’s dedication to easing the recurring transportation challenges for the civil servants whereas selling eco-friendly mobility.
He stated that the scheme was a partnership between the state authorities, the Nigerian Labour Congress, Paynacle Digital Services Limited, and Optimus Bank.
According to Sani, the initiative seeks to ease the transportation challenges of the employees whereas selling clear vitality.
