The Tour du Rwanda administration has confirmed that French bicycle owner Fabien Doubey, who was sporting the Yellow Jersey, is the official winner of the 2025 Tour du Rwanda.
This resolution comes after the seventh stage was declared void, as no rider was capable of full it as a result of poor street circumstances. Heavy rains in Nyabugogo brought about mudslides, making the street impassable.
Following this, the race organizers determined to nullify the seventh stage, which meant that Fabien Doubey, who was main with the Yellow Jersey, was declared the general winner of the Tour du Rwanda 2025.
The 2024 version of the Tour du Rwanda was gained by British bicycle owner Joseph Blackmore.
