It is with profound disappointment that we be part of the Gambia Press Union and your complete media fraternity in mourning the premature passing of two cherished members of our journalistic group, Modou Lamin Sanyang and Mass Kah. 

Their loss shouldn’t be solely a blow to their households and respective media homes but additionally to the nation they served with dedication and integrity.

Modou Lamin Sanyang, a sports activities journalist at Star FM/TV, was a beacon of ardour and excellence in his subject. Known as “The Mandinka Sports Presenter”, his voice resonated with sports activities fans throughout the nation. Modou’s dedication to his craft, his potential to interact audiences, and his relentless pursuit of excellence made him a standout determine in Gambian sports activities journalism.
