The Oba Saheed Elegushi Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), says it’s giving N200 million to help Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and college students in Eti-Osa space of Lagos State.
The NGO stated this in a press release signed by Temitope Oyefeso, Special Assistant on Public Affairs to the ttaditional ruler of Ikateland, Oba Saheed Elegushi.
According to Oyefeso, the initiative coincides with the fifteenth Anniversary of the normal ruler, whose reign has fostered progress and prosperity inside the neighborhood.
He stated the normal ruler had pledged his dedication to sustainable improvement and upliftment of the neighborhood.
Elegushi was quoted to have stated: “As I rejoice 15 years on the throne, I’m persevering with within the custom of giving again to the society that has supported me.
“This initiative is a testomony to my perception within the potential of our youths and entrepreneurs.
“Together, we can build a brighter future for our communities.”
Oyefeso stated the initiative aimed toward offering monetary help and assets to native entrepreneurs and college students to assist stimulate financial progress and improve academic alternatives.
“This initiative not only marks a significant milestone in the traditional ruler’s reign but also reinforces the foundation’s commitment to driving positive change within its area of focus,” he stated.
He famous that the funds could be distributed by way of varied programmes designed to help innovation, entrepreneurship, and educational excellence.
