Chelle unveils Super Eagles starting XI for Zimbabwe’s warriors in 2026 World Cup qualifier – Blueprint Newspapers Limited

The head coach of the Super Eagles, Eric Chelle on Tuesday stuck to his winning team for the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe.

Chelle won his first game against Rwanda last Friday.

Victor Osimhen scored a brace in the encounter and revived Nigeria’s hope of qualifying for the world Cup tournament.

Chelle named an unchanged starting XI for Tuesday clash with Zimbabwe with the quartet of Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Simon Moses and Samuel Chukwueze in attack.

In midfield, Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi will continue, just like Stanley Nwabali in goal.

Ola Aina, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey and captain William Troost-Ekong will man the defence.

Kick off is 5pm WAT.
