Palestinian presidential advisor Mahmoud Al-Habbash has expressed deep gratitude for King Mohammed VI’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, particularly through his leadership of the Al-Quds Committee and its executive arm, Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency.
Speaking at a press conference following his meeting with Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita on Thursday, Al-Habbash highlighted Morocco’s significant contributions to Palestine. He emphasized that the Al-Quds Committee, under King Mohammed VI’s presidency, provides religious, political, and humanitarian support through various programs in Jerusalem and other Palestinian territories.
During the discussions, Al-Habbash and Bourita reviewed ongoing Arab and international efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace for the Palestinian people and the region as a whole.
“I conveyed President Mahmoud Abbas’s greetings to Minister Bourita and reaffirmed the Palestinian people’s appreciation for King Mohammed VI’s steadfast commitment to prioritizing the Palestinian cause,” Al-Habbash stated.
The Palestinian official also underscored the deep historical and fraternal ties between Morocco and Palestine, affirming that both nations will continue to strengthen their bilateral relations.
