NAFOWA Donates Educational Supplies To Indigent College students In Abuja

The Nigerian Air Force Officers Wives Association (NAFOWA) on Thursday, distributed instructional supplies to indigent college students of Junior Secondary School, Asokoro, Abuja in commemoration of the 2025 International Day of Education.

The gadgets included faculty baggage, writing supplies, textual content books and  cheque for fee of faculty charges.

The President of NAFOWA, Mrs Rakiya Abubakar, stated the occasion was a part of NAFOWA’s humanitarian actions to have a good time the world schooling day often celebrated on Jan. 24 yearly.

Abubakar stated that NAFOWA recognised the ability of studying and the doorways it may open for all, including that schooling remained the important thing to a vivid future.

“Education offers you the instruments to beat challenges as a result of it teaches you easy methods to suppose, resolve issues and create new alternatives not only for yourselves or your households, however on your group, your nation and the world at giant.

“Though we have schools, and we do that among our children in schools, we felt we should go to neighboring communities and also encourage the students to study,” she added.

The Principal of the School, Malam Jafaru Madaki, expressed gratitude to the air drive officers’ wives for selecting his faculty out of many colleges within the metropolis.

Madaki stated the help would assist the scholars, particularly these whose dad and mom couldn’t afford to purchase them train books and faculty baggage.

“This association came and gave this to the school and they were also able to pay school charges for some students. It is a great day for us,” the principal stated. (NAN)
