2 rescued as 3-storey building collapses in Lagos

Two persons have been rescued following the collapse of a three-storey building on Lagos Island.

The building which is still under construction at 4, Agarawu Street caved in Sunday afternoon.

Spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident, adding that no fatalities were recorded.

He added that the area had been secured by emergency personnel and normalcy had returned to the neighbourhood.
